Movement control
Calibration: Set forward movement direction as the current looking direction in VR by pressing the left hand grip. The gray ball shows the current forward movement direction. After the calibration, the forward movement direction is independent to the looking direction such that the user can look around freely without affecting the movement.
Horizontal Movement control:
Method 1: Use left hand joystick of the VR controller to move forward, backward, left or right.
Method 2: VR World Tour supports Foottroller for natural VR locomotion which allows the user to move by naturally walking in the VR. Connect Foottroller to the PC. Run the Foottroller Hub software, which sends Foottroller data and controls to the VR World Tour.
Note: When Foottroller is used, first set the Foottroller operation mode to mode 2 for walk in place, then switch the operation mode to the Dev. mode. The forward movement direction will be updated automatically by the pointing direction of the user's right foot, which allows the user's to turn naturally and smoothly in VR.
Vertical Movement control: Use right hand joystick of the VR controller to move up or down in the game.
Movement speed control: The speed of movement in the game is determined by the joystick or Foottroller inputs and a adjustable ratio that maps the inputs to movement in the game. Press button B (or the primary button) of the right hand VR controller to adjust the ratio to increase the movement speed. Press button A (or the secondary button) of the right hand VR controller to adjust the ratio to decrease the movement speed.
Information display control
Game information and responses are shown as text in the VR game.
Press button Y (the primary) button of the left hand VR controller, and the text will be displayed in the user's looking direction. The user can adjust the location of the text in the game by looking at different directions and pressing the Y button.
